When booking your boudoir session, I have two different location options. This is one of my favorite galleries that gives you a full picture of what a boudoir session in the Westwood studio would look like and the benefits to booking here versus my home studio in Paramus. Let’s go through the good stuff.
First, the positives. I don’t have to tell you this, but this space is GORGEOUS. The exposed brick, the bright white walls and natural light is my love language. Seriously, it’s a dream. If you’re envisioning a gallery that has a downtown studio loft feel to it, this might be it for you. One of the other reasons I love this space is the size. As a photographer, I move around a lot during your session and having the space to try out different poses and shoot from different perspectives allows me to give you a little more diversity in your images.
The downsides? There isn’t too many but let me go through the few. This Westwood studio is a shared space, so I always need to check on availability before booking. If you have a specific date in mind, we need to secure the studio about 4-5 weeks in advance. Lastly, parking in Westwood is metered. I find that to be frustrating at times, but I’m a baby when it comes to parking.
Overall, I absolutely LOVE shooting in this space. The light is always consistent and truly, it’s a photographers dream space. It’s important to think of your vision and if this space fits into it, it’s perfection.
