What made you want to book a boudoir session?
I originally wanted to book a boudoir session as a gift for my fiance. I was nervous to follow through with actually doing it but after my first phone call with Katie, I felt more comfortable with the idea and also felt that it may also help my self confidence.
Was there anything holding you back from booking your session?
Mostly not feeling confident about my body lately was holding me back. I have had some stressful challenges this year resulting in poor habits and poor diet and I felt like there was no way I could look good in a photo right now.
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
My favorite part was seeing the end results and not having negative thoughts about myself. I usually pick apart pictures of myself and I was actually so happy with all of the photos. The album came out beautiful.
What would you tell to someone else who is thinking about this experience but is feeling hesitant?
That Katie makes it so comfortable and professional. I didn’t think it was possible for the experience to not be awkward, but within minutes I was at ease with the process.
When you look at your photos, how would you describe the woman you see?
Confident and beautiful and happy
Why KB Boudoir?
I looked at a few websites and instagram accounts for Boudoir photographers and KB Boudoir appealed to me because of her photography but also her approach to the process. Based off her content I could tell Katie cares about her clients being comfortable and confident. I felt like she was empowering women.
