What made you want to book a boudoir session?

Following boudoir photographers on instagram and seeing how beautiful they made women look. I think being able to show off your body in a subtle yet sexy way feels liberating.

Was there anything holding you back from booking your session?

Mostly money. I’m very frugal when it comes to a lot of things, and spending that much on myself seemed a little ridiculous- especially with all the bills/responsibilities I have. I can say now- it was worth every penny.

What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

I can’t pick just one. I never have the chance to get my hair and makeup done so that was fun. I loved catching up with you, and even talking to Jillian. It was like a little social hour. I wasn’t nervous at all – maybe because I know you, and I was mentally prepared for the experience. Although I have insecurities about my body, I am comfortable enough with my body to not feel weird about being half naked. Your commentary when taking the photos was amazing and made me feel great. The poses felt easy for me to get into and hold, and your directions were perfect. The overall experience was my favorite part. 🙂 

What would you tell to someone else who is thinking about this experience but is feeling hesitant?

JUST DO IT! I swear you won’t regret it – it’s worth every penny, you will feel SO BEAUTIFUL and you’ll look at the photos hundreds of times. This is coming from someone who very rarely feels “pretty”.

When you look at your photos, how would you describe the woman you see?

A confident, sexy and beautiful woman.

I love seeing women doing things they love, and not just sticking with a job for the money or the benefits.
