What made you want to book a boudoir session? 

I wanted to do it as a wedding gift to my fiancé but I also wanted to do it for myself. I’ve had a lifelong battle with self-love and body image, so I think that doing a boudoir session was such a huge step for me in my journey.

Was there anything holding you back from booking your session?

I was hesitant at first because I’m so critical of myself and wasn’t sure if I would like the photos. But I think it’s important to push yourself out of your comfort zone sometimes so I decided to go for it.

What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

I loved getting glammed up with hair and makeup and having the outfits on. But I also had so much fun just doing the shoot with Katie. She really hypes you up and makes you feel so comfortable. 

What would you tell to someone else who is thinking about this experience but is feeling hesitant?

Do it! Put whatever fears you have aside and give it a shot. It might be the thing you can do for yourself.

When you look at your photos, how would you describe the woman you see?

That woman is fierce, confident, and beautiful (on the inside and outside). When I look at my photos, I’m finally able to see myself the way everyone else sees me- and I think that’s really special.
