What made you want to book a boudoir session?

Originally I wanted to book a boudoir session to gift my fiancé for our wedding, as many other girls do. I also am not the most confident and am very hard on myself for my physique. I thought a boudoir session might boost that up. 

Was there anything holding you back from booking your session?

I already feel awkward in front of a camera and thought how could I possibly do this in lingerie but I just told myself if I didn’t like it I’ll just never show anyone. 

What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

My favorite part of my boudoir experience had to be the reveal! After my session, we broke for lunch while Katie edited. After an hour she let me know to come back to the studio and I couldn’t have been more excited. Seeing the photos and how amazing they turned out was the best. I felt like letting out some happy tears. Also meeting Katie was amazing. She’s one of the best human beings on the planet, helping you feel like a natural and so comfortable. 

What would you tell to someone else who is thinking about this experience but is feeling hesitant? 

Just do it! It’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I would do it again 1000%. 

When you look at your photos, how would you describe the woman you see?

Looking at my photos, I see a strong, sexy, confident woman. Sometimes I look back at my photos just to remind myself that.

When I started thinking about doing a boudoir photo shoot I had no idea where to find someone. I wanted someone professional and who knew what they were doing. I saw KB Boudoir recommended on the NJ Bride Facebook page. When comparing KB Boudoir to other photographers, her images always looked amazing. This is what Katie does for a living, it’s not just another side gig. Her images show beautiful confident woman and I wanted to be that.
